Dr. Anjali Williamson, or “Dr. Angie” as she is known to her patients, always wanted to open her own dental practice, ever since she was a kid sitting in her orthodontist’s treatment chair! She is very excited to be caring for and treating children and adolescents at Morningside Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Angie is committed to providing quality, evidence-based, dental care. She will make every effort to make visits to the office positive experience for her patients.

Dr. Angie grew up in Albany, NY. She attended Williams College where she majored in Mathematics. Dr. Williamson earned her doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in Long Island, NY.  She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the internationally-world-renowned Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. This specialty training included child development, behavior management, restorative and preventive dentistry, craniofacial anomalies, trauma management, conscious oral sedation dentistry, dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia, special needs management, as well as interceptive and comprehensive orthodontics.

Dr. Angie is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She also has completed her certification in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders. This certification provided her with additional training in treating children with special needs or challenges.  Dr. Angie has been involved in organized dentistry since dental school and is a strong believer in lifelong learning. She is an active member in the following organizations:

• Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry
• Georgia Dental Association
• Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry

Before fulfilling her dream of opening up her own dental practice, Dr. Angie cared for the oral healthcare needs of children in private practices in Kennesaw and Alpharetta, Georgia.  She is delighted to have the opportunity to provide her care and services inside the perimeter and is so glad to be working closer to home!

Dr. Angie lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys soccer, dancing, and trivia.
